Dear Prospective Exhibitor/Sponsor:

The Institute for Scientific Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce sponsorship opportunities available for DDI- 2020.

DDI- 2020:  23rd International Conference on Drug-Drug Interactions

Venue: University of Washington, Seattle, WA USA; Husky Union Building

June 16-18, 2020

ISC, Inc. would like to extend an invitation for your company to sponsor/exhibit at these exciting events. The intended attendees and speakers for these conferences are key decision makers in the field of drug discovery, drug development, and research.  These conferences are designed to focus on international exposure to the major pharmaceutical corporations.

Our annual International Conference of Drug-Drug Interactions which was inaugurated in 1997, the same year that U. S. FDA announced its first guidance document on the evaluation of drug-drug interactions in which species-difference in drug metabolism was clearly articulated, and in vitro human-based experimental systems were proposed as more appropriate than nonhuman animals in the assessment of human clinical drug interactions.  The 1997 FDA guidance document has led to an international shift in paradigm, namely, from the dependence of empirical findings with animals in vivo to mechanistic-based experimentation with human-based experimental models, allowing further development of in vitro-in vivo extrapolation approaches to better our ability to predict clinical outcomes.  Our work is not yet done as there remain myriad challenges, but great strides have been made.

DDI-2020 will highlight the science and discoveries with presentations by leading scientists with major contributions in the scientific understanding and technological advances of the field of drug-drug interactions, and practical applications of the state-of-the art scientific approaches in drug development.
